About me

I could define myself as an artist painter and muralist, since this is what I mostly do, although I love to experiment with other artistic forms. 🌈🦋

In my professional life I have worked a wide range of techniques such as: figure modeling, mold making, fiberglass and resin work, jewelry (lost wax technique), screen printing designs, shop window decoration, graphic design, decorative painting, 3D painting, special effects with fluorescent paint, digital art, murals, portraits, design and manufacture of signs, mosaics and ephemeral architecture.

I was born in Granada, daughter of a Catalan mother and a Russian father, where I lived the first 8 years.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Attracted from childhood by the visual arts and crafts, I used to spend long times drawing and painting, I remember how much I enjoyed when they gave me a box of watercolors and a box of pastel colors.😍

At 18, after high school, I started my academic training in Barcelona. I studied graphic design at the Lotja school in Barcelona, mural painting at the Vilanova i la Geltrú art school and drawing and painting at the "Leonardo Vincy" academy in Barcelona.

From there I have always been self-taught.😏

From 1989 to 1993 I ran my own company dedicated to "informal gift" where I designed and modeled sculptures, some used to make lamps or wall clocks, to reproduce using molds and then commercialize them. At that stage I started using the airbrush to color the sculptures and soon I started using it in 2D.

In 1993 I moved to Tenerife where, encouraged by the Swedish artist Lena Larsson, I painted my first commissioned murals and, at the same time, designed advertising posters.✈

In 1998 I made my first trip to India where I modeled small sculptures for the company "chakragemsart", that's where my passion for travel began.✈🌎

Back in Sitges in 1999 I continued my career as a painter; I made several murals in restaurants, shops, clubs, hotels and private homes, while painting commissions on canvas and I also did some exhibitions.🎨🖼

In love with nature, wildlife and marine life, my personal work reflects that passion.🦩🐟🐬 Much of my work is done with airbrush because I am fascinated by the realism that can be achieved with this technique.

I also started experimenting with fluorescent paint; I enjoy seeing how the same work is transformed illuminated with UV light (ultraviolet).

In 2001 I traveled to Sri Lanka where I did scuba diving for the first time and this became my greatest passion. Many of my works are underwater scenes. ✈🤿🐠🐬

In 2004 I painted my first mural in Sri Lanka and soon I received many more commissions in that country, which has me in love and which gave me the opportunity to work in other countries such as Australia.✈🎨

Today I am settled in Sitges although I never despise the opportunity of a trip, thus I have carried out works in Spain, France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, India, Sri Lanka and Australia.🎨💗

How do I work?

If you want to order a mural or a painting from me, these are the steps to follow: Contact me through this website 👉Contact👈 indicating your email address and I will respond as soon as possible.

For example: If you would like a mural for a room in your house, you can send me by email the photo of the wall you want to paint, if possible with the furniture around it, so that I can see the style and colors of its decoration.

This is my wall:

Wall 1 Wall 2

(Example)

Then explain me the idea you have for that space and / or pictures of your idea that can bring me as close as possible to what you want. If you don't have any ideas or pictures don't worry! I can look for them. 😉

My idea: A simple tropical beach with turquoise sea color.

Once we agree on an idea I will make a photo montage in Photoshop on the picture of the wall you want to paint so that you can see how the painted wall will look like. Please note that this is for you to have an idea only and the end result will not be the same. It is possible that I send you several proposals so that you can choose the one that you like the most.

These are my proposals:

proposal1 proposal2 proposal3 proposal4 proposal5 proposal6

(Example)

It will be possible to change, add or remove the elements that you want.

I want to remove the tree of the top:

When you are happy with the result, we will arrenge the day and time to start the mural. I will indicate the approximate duration of the work, which will depend on its size and complexity ... and let's get started !! 😊

If you wish a painting on canvas or on any other support, it is possible to send it by post.

Fluorescents

Fluorescent paints add an extra touch to your mural as it can be illuminated at night.

To get it lighted up, you must place a black (UV, ultraviolet) light at enough distance to the mural so the light can reach the entire wall.

These lights can be bulbs, LED bulbs, fluorescent tubes and even LED strips. They do not represent a risk to health or eyes as their wavelength should be between 315nm and 400nm (most commercial lights are 385-400nm) but it is convenient to place them out of direct sight so the effect will be more pleasent.

It is not advisable outdoors or where the sunlight falls directly as it deteriorates the fluorescent effect.

This lighting requires the rest of the space to be dark (or almost) in order to visualize its effects properly. It makes some elements of the room light up too (like some fabrics or white t-shirts) and the result is a very cozy, intimate and pleasant atmosphere.

Through the use of invisible fluorescent paint, effects are achieved that are not visible in daylight but that glow intensely under black light, so that an apparently white wall can hide beautiful secrets, for example the ceilings of a starry sky.

Pricing

To talk with me for an exchange of ideas cost absolutely nothing! so do not hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas on your mind, I will gladly assist you! 🤗 ( Contact )

For murals:

If you have a very clear idea of what you want and you already have reference pictures, I can make a photomontage on the photo of your wall, also at no cost, so you can get an idea of what the final result would be like. You just have to send me a photo of your wall and the reference picture and I will take care of the rest. If you like the result, I will make a budget indicating the price and the approximate working time.

To budget a mural I make an estimate of the hours I will spend on the artwork, then I add the cost of materials and transport if necessary. The working hours depend on the size and complexity of the project, each case is different and requires an individual appraisal.

If you do not have a very clear idea of what you want and you wish me to send you proposals, this has a small cost based on the hours used until you are completely satisfied with a proposal. These hours in general are not many, do not panic! 😉 Unless the subject is very complex and requires many hours of drawing, but I usually use photographs.

This part is very important because the final result will depend on it, so you have to like the project 100%. You can ask me to add or remove items, change colors, tones, and more... Note that Photoshop montages are just that! Photoshop montages, but the end result will be different, contours, shadows, etc. will be softened, and it will look much better! 😏

Projects vs final painting:

(Examples)

Before starting a project, I would do an evaluation and appraisal of the project itself, of which half would have to be paid in advance and the other half at the end of the project. If the result is satisfactory, I would then make the budget for the artwork, of which half would also may be paid before starting and the rest at the end.

I have no problem moving if you are far from where I live, I would only have to add to the budget the travel expenses, subsistence and lodging (I also accept that you provide me with lodging and diet for the duration of the work)

For paintings on canvas or other supports:

The procedure would be more or less the same as for the murals, except that you can save the displacement by sending the item by post. Before that I would send you a photo of the finished artwork in case you think it is appropriate to do some retouching.

Generally, canvas paintings are more elaborate and with more detail than murals since they can last much longer in time. These can also be fluorescent and glow under black light.

Fluorescent artworks are a bit more costly as they require extra work and materials and they must be painted in the dark alternating UV light with normal light.

Do not hesitate to ask me any question you have in mind or ask for a budget without obligation, it will be my pleasure! 🤗 👉Contact👈
